The Foundation for Science and Democracy (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Demokratie) is a non-profit foundation under civil law, based in Hamburg.

SWUD: First Team Briefing for Political Observers
25 members of the project team - political science staff, as well as masters and graduates of from Halle - met on 23 September 2016 for a full-day event in order to familiarize themselves with the contents of the project and jointly plan field research.

SWUD: Begin of field research on a pretest weekend in September 2016
Mid-September marked the starting point for the candidates and their research project. Eleven members of our project team participated in four assembly meetings in Brandenburg, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz and Sachsen. Four questionnaires, two procedures for scientific observation and a guide for short interviews were tested.
