The Foundation for Science and Democracy will find its new home in the centre of Kiel.
In Kiel's old town, which is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment, the foundation has acquired a building with a view of the boat harbour and Kiel Fjord. The warehouse building from 1908 still exudes post-war charm at the moment, but will be converted into a modern office and residential building in the coming months. It will provide space for the Foundation's employees, the researchers of the Institute for Security Policy gGmbH (ISPK) and the editorial team of the Portal for Political Science. From 2019, the Foundation will work, conduct research and organise events here at Wall 40 together with its institutions and the ISPK.
