Dr Agnieszka von Zanthier is a consultant for foundations and associations.

2004-2019 she was managing director of the Freya von Moltke Foundation for the New Kreisau (Berlin). Before that, she was commissioned by the Kreisau Initiative e. V. She set up an office for the conception, financing and realisation of international youth education projects. In the 1990s, she worked as a journalist for German and Polish media. She studied German language and literature, history, philosophy and education at the Universities of Warsaw, Heidelberg, Göttingen and completed his doctorate in modern literature at the University GH Duisburg.

She has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Citizenship Foundation (Berlin). 2009-2019 she was a member of the board of trustees of the Foundation 20 July 1944 and on the board of the Moltke Foundation (both in Berlin), from 2017 as Chairwoman of the Board. From 2003-2009, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Kreisau Foundation for European Understanding (Krzyżowa, Poland), its deputy chairwoman from 2004.
